Campus Tour Information:
Columbia Basin College offers a variety of events on campus. If you are interested in a tour, field trip to the planetarium, college presentation, college student panel or all of these, you can schedule for small or large group visits.
Group visits can vary based on transportation needs, time restraints, campus information and age group. We ask that groups consider the necessary time for each activity when planning a visit:
Tour: 45 to 60 minute walking tour of campus
Planetarium Show: 60 minutes total (movie and live demonstration)
Interactive College Presentation: 45 to 60 minutes
Student Panel with CBC Students: 15 to 30 minutes
Group visits will be scheduled based on availability during CBC hours of operation Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 11:00 am. We ask for 2 weeks advance notice to allow for scheduling.
Arriving for your tour:
Group visits bringing a bus are asked to pull into the parking area behind our Planetarium to load/unload students (see campus map). We recommend drivers to use Argent Road and enter on Farm Road for easiest navigation to the appropriate lot. Daily parking for the bus will be in the gravel lot behind the baseball field located on Farm Road. Groups will be greeted in the parking area to begin the visit.
